The WSMC Oil Spill Contingency Plan describes the actions to be taken and resources that would be mobilized by WSMC in the event of an oil spill incident from a member vessel. This Plan also includes valuable background and reference information for use by the WSMC Spill Management Team.
The WSMC Plan was granted conditional approval by the Washington State Department of Ecology on January 19, 2024 following a 5 year update. The complete WSMC Plan is available via the link below. Future updates and revisions to the WSMC Plan will be posted to this web page.
